Department of Trade &
Economic Development
In 2005, KneeDeep was engaged by the Department of Trade & Economic
Development (DTED) ITC industry development manager to develop and
deliver a leadership program for fast growth companies.
This contract involved ,and the development of an experiential program, tailored
to
engage the target group. This group is highly intelligent and strongly
weighted
to analytical thinking. As such, they represent a challenge for the
delivery of
conventional programs as they can be sceptical of their worth and challenging
of the trainer.
Here are some typical comments from participants of the leadership
program:
"This program
helped me to highlight areas within the company and
my team that needed attention and improvement, including myself. I gained
additional skills to assist and enhance my management style and it gave
me
added confidence in areas that I found challenging. Thanks"
"The course
set a mood that immediately pushed every attendant into
being contributive and highlighted their best qualities and not their
short
comings. The mood and reciprocal respect/bonds that the activities and
facilitators helped create were the most inspiring parts, and it helped
me
refocus and get rid of any negativity I was feeling"
"I think
I have a better understanding of the way that I work best and
an appreciation of the differences in others - and how to make that
work best
for the achievement of goals"
"Henrietta
and Marguerite were really good and did a fantastic job of
conveying the information they were discussing. It was good to see they
knew the information well, not just regurgitating it from books, and
went
out of their way to ensure that everyone got something out of each session"
