Tuesday, March 26, 2013: Adelaide leaders are invited to join expert facilitators Dr Jean Murray
and Henrietta Child for a breakfast workshop to explore the importance of values in leadership.

At a time where leadership values have been publicly challenged on our national centre stage,
this workshop is particularly relevant.

KneeDeep Managing Director Henrietta Child says “Values frame our thinking at work and
guide our decision-making. The more we live by our values, the easier it is for others to know
who we are. That's the way we build the connections which are an essential part of leadership".

"But when times get tough, values can often seem hard to maintain. Compromises seem inevitable
but they are not always desirable. Look at what happened last week in politics and this week’s
opinion polls to see how disconnected people feel."

But why are our values important in business leadership?

According to Dr Murray, our personal values combined with our professional values are linked
directly to our credibility as leaders. "Credibility doesn’t come with a title or position.
Credibility is earned, and one way we earn it is by demonstrating our values through actions
and decisions."

This breakfast workshop is designed to deliver tailored content in an intimate forum using
light-hearted scenarios over the well-known and delicious full–cooked breakfast at Adelaide
eatery Rigoni’s, finishing before the working day begins

KneeDeep partners with VIPAC to focus on Project Management in Defence... (October 2012)

We will be launching a Diploma of Project Management program with a defence focus in November. This program is primarily intended for organisations working for Defence Material Organisation (DMO) and their contractors.

We are launching this program in collaboration with Vipac Engineers and Scientists who bring significant defence exposure into the partnership. KneeDeep Managing Director, Henrietta Child says she is excited about the offering, "Our partnership with VIPAC means we are offering a Diploma of Project Management to organisations working in the defence space to equip them to meet the challenges of the current defence environment. Our nationally recognised Diploma of Project Management program is an excellent and well received program. This specific Defence Project Management program will provide practical guidance, contemporary examples and on ground experience of defence acquisition and modification projects in the Australian context.”

A range of funding options will also be available for those who want to achieve this qualification.

We are planning to run the first Diploma of Project Management program with a defence flavour early February 2013 and we are seeking expressions of interest now!

UniSA endorses KneeDeep! (September 2012)

We are very proud to announce that we have finalised an agreement with the University of South Australia for transitional arrangements from our Certificate IV and Diploma programs to Bachelor degrees within the Division of Business.

Under this arrangement, students qualified with our Diploma or Certificate IV qualifications receive credit transfers toward a maximum of 6 subjects for selected Bachelor degree programs (Bachelor of Management, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Events Management etc).

We believe that this is an endorsement from the the wider industry and academia on our expertise and the credibility of our training programs. We are ecstatic at the news and look forward to meeting a lot of new students who want to complete their degrees at UniSA.
